(2) Only II is sufficient.

(3)  Both I and II are required

(4) Both I and II are not sufficient

Example 1 : Village R is in which direction with respect to village D ?

(I) Village R is to the north of village T and is to the west of village F.

(II) Village D is to the west of village T ?

Answer : (3)

Solution : Statement (I) alone is not sufficient as D is not mentioned in statement I.
